Andrew Knapp

As Associate for Executive Client Services and Operations, Andrew plays a pivotal role to make sure every client receives the care, attention, and responsiveness that defines the Hill Island experience.

Before joining Hill Island, Andrew spent over a decade in academic publishing—a world that sharpened his eye for detail and commitment to thoughtful communication. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University, a master’s from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD from the Johns Hopkins University.

When he’s not at the office, you’ll likely find Andrew outdoors or with his wife Caroline and three children—Evangeline, Malachi, and Ezekiel. He’s an avid runner and birding enthusiast who finds peace (and the occasional great horned owl) in the rhythm of nature.
