Derik Lolli

As CMO of Hill Island Financial, Derik brings 20+ years of experience in digital innovation and growth. He has worked for leading companies like Apple, Sony and Microsoft designing first to market solutions.

Derik is a seasoned entrepreneur who started and most recently sold Benefit, a mobile payments company that enabled users to support their favorite school, nonprofit or life expense through their everyday transactions. 

A few things about Derik when he’s not at work:

• He graduated from Hillsdale College. 
• He once hiked the Grand Canyon with his wife Marti, a leading healthcare business executive – but this isn’t her bio.  
• He plays chess when he’s not watching his kids. He plays chess when he is watching his kids. He plays too much chess for how good he actually is. 
• He can hit a 120 mph tennis serve at the expense of life long shoulder and back pain. But still, 120 mph. 
• He loves golf but has to skip years at a time for the aforementioned back pain. 

Most notably, Derik likes to have fun and work with great people. His emphasis is and has always been making sure the client experience is second to none. He looks forward to bringing that energy to the HIll Island Financial team.
